About Easterbrook Painting

Owner and operator Jim Easterbrook lives in Truckee, California with his wife Amy and daughter Emma. He received his bachelor’s degree at U.C. Davis, while running multiple crews of painters during the summers in the Sacramento area. After earning a graduate degree in education, he taught at North Tahoe Middle School for 6 years. After spending these summers honing his skills as a painter, Jim finally decided to embark on building his own painting business in 2001.
Jim has developed a deep understanding of the mountain home and the needs of Tahoe/Truckee builders. Understanding what products are appropriate for certain types of substrates is essential to fulfilling the needs of our demanding clients.
